Jean Bryant Woodruff, 77, of Louisville passed away Friday, December 25, 2015. She was born April 13, 1938 in Columbia KY to the late Luther and Sarah McGaha Bryant. Jean was a loving person who volunteered with her whole heart. She enjoyed life to the fullest but most importantly she was a loving wife, mother and meemaw.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Danny Woodruff, her husband, Robert “Woody” Woodruff Sr. and her sister, Ann Herrin.
Left cherishing her memory is her children; Robert A “Woody” Jr. (Kellie), Ron W. (Terry) and Kenny E (Missy) Woodruff and Theresa A. Pendleton; her daughter-in-law, Julie Woodruff Safley; grandchildren, Chrissy, John, Emily, Hannah, Mitchell, Addie, Corey, Sarah, Morgan, and Nicole; great-grandchildren, Braydon and Vivian, a special niece, Vickie Taylor, along with her fur baby, Carly Rose.
A Life Celebration will be held on Saturday, January 2, 2016 at 12 pm in Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Chapel, 4400 Bardstown Road, with interment to follow in Resthaven Memorial Park.
Visitation will be Thursday from 12-5 pm and after 9 am on Saturday at the funeral home.
