Jeanne Adele Brereton, 78, of Louisville Kentucky, originally from White Plains New York, peacefully passed away in her home on Wednesday November 29, 2023. She retired from teaching school at Chenoweth Lane Elementary and loved tutoring, reading, and trivia. Jeanne also was involved with many different charitable organizations. She loved animals, including bugs, actually any living thing.
Jeanne was preceded in death by her parents, Edward Brereton and Regina Scully Brereton; and brother-in-law, Adrian A. Seeley.
Left to cherish Jeanne’s memory are her sisters, Eileen Skaggs, Susan Seeley (Charles Burnett); nephew, Adrian Seeley Jr; several cousins and loving extended family and friends, especially her book club girls!
Visitation will be Thursday, December 7, 2023 from 3pm until 7pm at Arch L Heady Funeral Home, 8519 Preston Hwy. 40219 with a sharing of memories service from 7pm until 7:30pm at the funeral home.
Memorial donations in Jeanne's honor should be directed to The Louisville Metro Animal Services.
