Jerry was a retired Railroad worker with CSX and also worked for Walmart. He loved guns, collecting matchbox cars, his dogs, basketball and football. He rooted for UK currently but, UofL , when they were winning.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Janis; son, Jerry Casey Jr. and two step sons, Mike Grant and John Johnson.
Also left to cherish his memory are nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren; his niece Kim Casey and her three children; along with numerous Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Ivy and Norma Casey; and brother Charles Casey.
Cremation was chosen
A Celebration of his life is scheduled for Tuesday, September 17 at 6pm at Heady Hardy Funeral Home, 7710 Dixie Highway. Visitation will be from 4 pm until time for the service.
