He was a retired electronic technician for Indiana Paging Network. He was also a ham radio operator (W9FS), a former mason and held a license as a pilot and a minister. Jerry was a US Air Force veteran.
He was preceded in rest by his stepdaughter, Anchana Vongsunoramate, grandson, Paul Daugherty, and a brother, Charles Daugherty.
Mr. Daugherty is survived by two sons, Jerry Wayne Daugherty, Jr. (Eva) and Robby Daugherty; a daughter, Michelle Daugherty Salazar (Ron); two step-children, Dang Daugherty and Lek Daugherty; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and his furbabe, Harmony.
Cremation was chosen.
His ashes will be interred in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery - Central, 2501 N. Dixie Highway, on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, at 10:30 am.
Heady-Hardy Funeral Home is responsible for arrangements.
