Wilson, Jerry Lewis, 76, of Frankfort, KY passed away Monday, July 31, 2017. Jerry had many accomplishments to be proud of during his life. Jerry was a WEBELO Den Leader. He retired from General Electric after 34 years of service and was certified in the Financial Management Program at General Electric. Jerry served as a deacon at First Presbyterian Church in Frankfort, for four years. He was an all-state football player at Eastern High School, a member of ROTC and Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity at University of Kentucky. Jerry was an avid UK fan, in spite of being a University of Louisville graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce. He enjoyed being a day trader for the stock markets in his spare time, as well as listening to trumpet music and the Richman Classical Music station. The best way to describe Jerry would be as a “sincere intellect with social skills,” as he never met a stranger or turned away a smiling face.
Preceding Jerry in death are his parents, L. Reese and Jenarose Wilson.
Left to cherish Jerry’s memory is his loving wife of 52 years, Brenda Bell. His children, Clark (Jamie) and Stacey. His sister, Shirley and his grandchildren; Scarlett and Jenarose.
A visitation will be held for Jerry on Thursday, August 3, 2017 from 1:00-2:00pm at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Rd. Louisville, KY 40218.
