He is the beloved husband to Cheryl wall, a devoted father to Traci and Bobby, sister, Jerry Corbin and her husband Ken, proud Papaw to Summer, Cassidy, Morgan, Braden and Hunter.
Jim graduated from Eastern High School; he was employed at the courier journal after Business College. His job was held for him after returning from two years of Army service. Jim was a data processing manager at the Courier Journal and served his 45 years there as the longest employed. He retired in the spring of 2012. He proudly coached J-Town Little League for several years and ultimately lead the 11 and 12 year olds (his son Bobby included) tow win the Kentucky State Baseball Championship.
A celebration of Jim’s life memorial service will be conducted 12 noon, Sunday, December 23, 2012 in the chapel of Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Rd. Inurnment will be at Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be held 11 am until service time the day of the service.
