She is preceded in death by her late husbands, William Iglehart and James McMahan, a son, Gary McMahan, her parents Matthew and Avellina Ahlhaus, a sister, Helen Rieger, brothers, Raymond Ahlhaus and Paul Ahlhaus and a nephew, Brian Ahlhaus. She is also preceded in death by many other extended family and friends.
Joan is survived by her daughter-in-law, Tessie McMahan, a granddaughter, Sara Williams(Brent), great grandchildren, Tyler and Allie Williams. Joan is also survived by her sister-in-law, Sharon Ahlhaus, nieces and nephews, Judy Galyean, Kenneth Rieger (Jodi), Linda Lenfert, David Rieger (Merilee), Wayne Rieger (Debbie), Mark Rieger, Bruce Rieger (Grace) and Marcia Fellows (Richard) and Paul Joseph Ahlhaus Jr. (Beth.)

Guests are invited to attend a visitation from 2-4 PM on Saturday, November 8, 2025 at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Rd., Louisville, KY 40218. An interment will take place at Resthaven Memorial Park Cemetery.
