Mrs. Rupp was a graduate of Atherton High School and was also retired from Blue Cross.
She also enjoyed cooking and gardening.
Joan was preceded in death by her former husband Milton Rupp, grandson, Brian Jennemann and
sisters, Caroline Lawton and Geraldine Hurst.
Survivors include her loving children: Deborah Newton (Bill), Gail Griffith (Dave), and David Rupp (Barbara); a brother, Robert Crawford; and her loving grandchildren, Britton (Katie) and Lindsey Rupp, Holly Griffin (Carson), Casey and Aaron Griffith, Mary
Cooper (Matt), and Cliff Newton.
Visitation will be held from 4-6 pm Thursday at Arch L. Heady & Son at Westport Village. Funeral Services will be private. Memorial Donations in Joan's memory may be directed to the Brian Jennemann Memorial Scholarship Fund in care of the Community Foundation of Louisville, 325 W.
