JoAnn graduated from DuPont Manual High School and attended Campbellsville University.
Broadway Baptist was her church home for over 40 years. She was an active member where she served as the Pastor’s Assistant for several years, and also served on many committees. She took great joy in the many relationships that were developed and cultivated through the years at Broadway.
Later in life, she worked for the Presbyterian Church Foundation, USA where she served as the assistant to the Director of Development, and enjoyed travelling across the country planning events for the organization. She made many friendships there that lasted the rest of her life.
JoAnn was a member of PEO Chapter A Louisville; and the Louisville Christian Women’s Club. She was a friend to all who knew her; and will be dearly missed. Her memorial service of celebration will be held at 11am Monday, March 11 at Broadway Baptist Church, 4000 Brownsboro Road, with internment at Cave Hill Cemetery. Her family will be receiving guests at the church immediately following the service from 12-2.
