From the moment John came into our lives on July 21, 1984, he filled our days with laughter, love, and light. He had a smile that could brighten the darkest room, and a heart that overflowed with kindness. He loved deeply, lived fully, and gave more joy in his short time here than many do in a lifetime.
From his children, we lost our hero, our guide, and our best friend — our dad, John. Words can’t capture the love he gave us or the lessons he taught us. He showed us strength, kindness, and what it means to be a good man.
Dad, you were our rock and our safe place. We will carry your wisdom and your love with us always. Though you’re no longer here, you’ll forever live in our hearts.
His parents, Johnna and Mitchell, from his first felt flutter in my womb he was not only our son but a source of endless pride and unconditional love. To his siblings, Josh and Jaime, he was a best friend, a partner in mischief, and a shoulder to lean on. To his friends and extended family, he was the one you could count on — always ready with a joke, a helping hand, or a listening ear.
Though his life was far too brief, John touched more lives than he ever realized. His spirit will remain alive in the stories we share, the love we hold onto, and the memories we will carry with us forever.
A service to honor and celebrate John's life will be held at 4:00 pm on Sunday, September 14, 2025 at Arch L Heady Funeral Home, 3601 Taylor Blvd. Visitation will be from 12:00 until the time of the service. All who knew and loved him are welcome.
We will miss you every day, John, but your love will never leave us. You will always be a part of us — our dad, our son, our brother, our everything.
