John W. Huchingson, 75 of Louisville passed away Tuesday, January 12, 2016 with family by his side. He was born May 1, 1940 in Wellborn FL to the late Victor and Lois Fowler Hutchingson. He was a 20yr Army veteran, a member of First Lutheran Church and a TARC driver. John enjoyed camping with the KY Cardinals Camping Club and Carnival cruises.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sisters, Ovieda, Inez and Josephine.
Left to cherish John’s memory is his loving wife of 47 years, Cheryl, his children: Steven Ray Huchingson, Deborah Sue Jackson and Denise Lynn Curfman, six grandchildren: Amanda Huchingson, Kristopher Huchingson, Meagan Marshall, Patrick Huchingson, Amber Curfman and Victoria Curfman, two great grandchildren, Morrigan and Hallie, his brother, James Hutchingson, his mother in law, Virginia Yocum and several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of John’s life will be held 12 pm Monday, January 18, 2016 in Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Chapel, 4400 Bardstown Rd, with interment to follow in Resthaven Memorial Park.
Visitation will be Sunday from 2-8 pm at the funeral home.
