John Leeman Reiter

John Leeman Reiter, 87, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, September 26, 2020 at his home in Beehive of Smyrna Assisted Living, Louisville, Ky. John was born on August 26, 1933 to John H. and Venna Reiter.

He was preceded in death by his wife Dolores H. Reiter, parents, and son-in-law, David Weaver.

He is survived by his children, Karen L. Weaver and Mark A. Reiter (Roberta); his grandchildren, Lindsay M. Bodden (James), Matthew A. Reiter, Christa L. Stables (John); and his brother, Kenny D. Reiter.

John worked for National Distillers Products for over 25 years. He also worked as a repair technician for several years and retired from Tom Stinnett RV Center. He was an avid fisherman and NASCAR fan.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 2, 2020 from 11:00am to 2:00 p.m. at the Evergreen Funeral Home, with Funeral Service following in the Evergreen Dignity Chapel at 2:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in John’s memory be made to Beehive of Smyrna Assisted Living, 8800 Smyrna Parkway, Louisville, Kentucky 40228.
