John enjoyed the simple things in life such as a good home cooked meal, fishing, and spending time with his family. John was a true craftsman at heart who spent many hours working patiently with clocks, a hobby that followed him many years after his retirement. John also spent many years woodworking. But those who knew john best will remember his excitement around the holidays when he could take the first sip of Nikki’s famous eggnog.
Most of all John will be remembered for the love that he had for his family and he will be greatly missed by all who know him.
His wife, Velma Robey and granddaughter Lily Grace Ann Wilcher, both proceed him in death.
Left to cherish his memory sons, Eddie and Cliff Robey; daughter, Teresa Wilcher (Joe); grandchildren, Dustin Wilcher (Kelly), Stephanie Spitler (Ben), Spencer Wilcher (Symone) and Nikki Taylor (Jake); great grandchildren, Winter Wilcher, Clark Wilcher, Amiyah Wilcher, and Colton Spitler.
