Mr. Valla was a retired Service Technician for Xerox after 37 years of service and a Navy Veteran.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Billie Marrs Valla; parents, John and Margaret Valla and his brother, David Allan Valla Sr.
Left to cherish his memory are his children, David Valla (Dana) ,Jackie Henson (Doug), Annastasia Webster (Ed) and J. Adam Wilson (Kelly); Brother, Richard Lee Valla Sr.; grandchildren, Leanna (Justin), Lily, Samantha, Ryan, Jonathan, Amelia (KC), Jamie, Blake, Eric; great-granddaughter, Ashlynn ; sister-in-law, Mary Valla and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Monday 2:00 pm at Evergreen Funeral Home, 4623 Preston Highway, Louisville, Kentucky.
Visitation will be held Sunday from 1:00 pm until 7:00 pm at the funeral home.
The family would like to request that memorial donations in John's name be directed to the American Lung Association.
