Joey enjoyed fishing and loved spending time talking on and listening to drivers through CB radios.
Left to cherish Joey's memory is his loving wife of 28 years, Sandy Burks; daughter, Maryann Burks; sister, Kathy Boyd (Ross); brother, Ricky Burks (Dina); sister-in-law, Rose Holcomb (James); grandchildren, Benjamin Hutchins, Noah Hutchins, Leon Hutchins; and one on the way, Cameron Joseph Burks; nieces, Renee Russell (Josh) and Jimae Edwards (Jimmy); and a host of loving family and dear friends.
A private service for the family will be held at a later date.
