He was preceded in death by his grandparents, William and Elizabeth Vandiver, and Wallace and Jean Burton.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Jessica S. Burton; children, Meghan Burton, Dakota Goff, and Joseph David Burton; parents, Johnny and Teresa Burton; siblings, Tony Burton and Micheal Burton (Ashley); and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends who will miss him dearly.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at 2pm at Evergreen Funeral Home Dignity Chapel with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 2 pm-8 pm and Tuesday from 12 pm-2 pm at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions in memory of Joseph can be made to the Louisville Rescue Mission.
