Joseph Francis Culver Sr., 71, of Louisville passed away July 13, 2015 at Sts. Mary and Elizabeth Hospital. He was born on May 10, 1944 in New Hope, Kentucky. He was retired from Louisville Metro Parks and was a veteran in the United States Army.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Sue Culver; a daughter, Carolyn Marie Culver and numerous brothers and sisters.
He is survived by his son, Joseph Francis Culver, Jr. (Kari); grandchildren, James “Yoda” Frederick Culver, Blake Nathaniel Culver and Curtis James Harris; four sisters, Anna Catherine Clan, Gertrude Wright, Joyce Gathof and Ann Burt; and several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of his life will be conducted Saturday, July 18, 2015 at 10:00 at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road with private burial in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 5-8 on Friday at the funeral home.
