He was a Navy Veteran of World War II and served in the Navy Armed Guard. Joseph was a member of the Plumbers and Pipefitters Union local 502 for 65 years and a lifetime member of the VFW. Owned and operated Foreman Mechanical Contractors in the 70’s and 80’s.
Joseph was preceded in death by his son; Vaughn Joseph Foreman.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 65 years; Earlene “Dixie” Foreman, children; Sharon Jacobus (Eddie), Richard Foreman (Brenda) and Jeffrey Foreman (Rose), grandchildren; Jason, Andrew, Carrie Jo, Doug, Samantha and Erika. Step-grandchildren; Jason, Jeremy, Joshua and Stephanie and 18 great grandchildren
A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted 12 noon, Thursday, February 16, 2012 in the chapel of Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Rd. with entombment to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park Mausoleum. Visitation will be held 3-8 pm Wednesday, February 15, 2012 and after 9 am the day of the service.
