Joseph "Joe" A. Solomotis, age 81, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on Tuesday, March 5, 2024. Joseph was born in Pennsylvania to the late Dora and Peter Solomotis. His sister, Frances Hamer and step father, Salvatore Nicolette also preceded him in passing.
Joe was a lifelong Christian and retired Navy Veteran after 20 years of dedication to his country. He then began a career in real estate for 35 years. Joe had a talent in drawing and wood working. He enjoyed being creative and providing for his family. His family was what made him most proud.
Here to carry on his memory is his wife of 58 years, Sharron Solomotis , daughter Tammy Solomotis, along with many other friends and family.
A committal service and Military Honors for Joseph will be held Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at 2:00 PM in Resthaven Memorial Park, Faith Mausoleum Chapel, 4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville, KY 40218.
