She is preceded in death by her husband, Raymond M. Myers; parents, William M. Dietzman and Josephine M. Dietzman; brothers, William B. Dietzman and Charles D. Dietzman; and grandson, Eddie Myers.
Mrs. Myers is survived by her sons, Raymond M. "Sonny" Myers, Jr. (Ida) of Crestwood and Paul J. Myers (Janet) of Louisville; two grandchildren, Michael "Mike" Myers (Jo) of Jeffersontown and Gina Repas (David) of Nashville, TN.; eight great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Myers was an avid bowler for more than 50 years and a longtime member of St. Edwards Catholic Church, where she was a coordinator for its Seniors Club. She was also a member of the Jeffersontown Senior Citizens Center and Louisville Girls High School Alumnae Club. One of her favorite memories was roller skating at Fontaine Ferry Park.
The Myers family would like to especially thank the caretakers at Glen Ridge Health Campus - who have shown such care and support during Jo's two year residency. And special thanks to her friends Jim, Pat and Mary Lynn for the continued visits and friendship.
Visitation with the family will be held on Thursday, September 10, 2015 from 11 a.m. until time of service at 2 p.m., Arch L Heady at Resthaven Chapel, 4400 Bardstown Road, with a private entombment in Resthaven Memorial Park.
