almost 11 years now my sweet uncle, grief doesn’t get any easier. i graduated high school in your memory. i walked across that stage thinking how proud you would be of me. when i was younger i would only think about how these life accomplishments would be without you here to witness it. without my only uncle to tell me that he’s proud of me. i’m 18 now, going to college. and i feel like it is just now hitting me by next year i’ll have lived the same amount of life you lived. and i feel how unfair it is. you deserve so much more. i miss you more than words could ever explain. -izzy

It’s going to be 10 years since your passing this year and these last couple have days have always been reoccurring thoughts of you, your 30th birthday just passed and i spent it just thinking and talking to you. i love you osito -izzy 

It's been a few years and I have to say still to this day I think about you and the times we shared in jrotc.... WE MISS YOU EDDIE!!!!

Almost a year has gone by since that terrible day you left us, I can still hear your laughter and feel the warmth of yout smile! Love you till the end of time son.

Eddie you was a awesome and wonderful fellow ROTC cadet when I was in ROTC you helped me with everything to knowing all I can know to telling and showing how to do it. Wish I was able to go to your funeral... Rest Easy my fellow ROTC cadet

Eddie you were a true friend to have I am sad to see you go. Every one says that you always brighten them up and you do. You served the country with honor and integrity. You were always strong for us and now it's our turn to be strong for you. You will never be forgotten. Rest in peace.

You were such an amazing person, I still can't believe that your really gone. We will miss you forever!!

We are a neighbor of  your friend Brandi ,we can remember when you guys was dating and every time your mother would drop you off at her house you would always kiss her goodbye  and we would always say how sweet  you must be . Thoughts and prayers with you and your family.

I am honored that I was able to meet you, Eddie. You were so very polite and in this day and age that is becoming very rare.You set a wonderful example for many.  I know you will be missed greatly.

Mr. and Mrs. Diaz- thank you for raising such an incredible young man.  Eddie was an amazing student and role model for others at Southern.  I feel blessed to have been a small part of his life, but he has touched mine forever.

Eddie I cant begin to express what im feeling right now. I miss you so much and loved you so much like my own child. You are one of a kind. Even though you were taken from us so suddenly and so soon I am glad we had time to hang out and have our talks and spend time together.
