Judith “Judy” A. Hamilton, 82 , of Louisville passed away December 3, 2014 at Norton Audubon Hospital. She was born on July 7, 1932 in Raywick, Kentucky to the late Alfred and Mary Abigail Malone. Judy was retired from the Jefferson County School Board and was a devoted member to St. Athanasius Catholic Church where she was involved with the S.A. W.S group. She was a very spiritual woman who devoted much of her time to her church and faith.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Roscoe Hamilton; and four siblings, Elma Walker, Harold Malone, Agnita Payne Cerniglia and Dorothy Borders.
She is survived by her four children, Michael Hamilton (Sharon), Ron Hamilton, Roger Hamilton and Pat Hamilton (Sabrina); 12 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren; and six brothers and sisters, Mary Alfreda Malone, OSU, Geneva Adams, Aretha Reckley, Joseph Clellan Malone, Wanda D’Angelo and John Robert Malone.
A mass of Christian Burial will be conducted on Saturday, December 6, 2014 at 11:00 AM at St. Athanasius Catholic Church, 5915 Outer Loop with burial in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 3-8 on Friday at the Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home, 4400 Bardstown Road.
