Junior Willis Bradley

Junior was a member of New Cut Baptist Church. He served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. He worked as a mechanic and he retired from General Electric after 30 plus years of dedicated service. Junior loved to fish, hunt, play his guitar and sing. Fun fact, Junior used to play in a band and he was a devout Johnny Cash fan.

Junior is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Jewell Evelyn Bradley; sons, Harvey Goolsby, Sr; and Steve Goolsby; sisters, Ruby Perkins and Bernice Mize; and his grandson, Bo Goolsby.

Left to cherish Junior's memory is his daughters, Vickie Bradley and Carol Trice (Sammy); brother, Jack E. Bradley; grandchildren, Megan Resnik (Jordan), Chelsey Chapman, Cindy Harston (Troy), Mitch Goolsby (Leslie), Scott McMahan (Nancy), Matt Goolsby (Kim), Angie Amons (Marty) and many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

A visitation for Junior will be held on Thursday, March 30, 2023 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Evergreen Funeral Home, 4623 Preston Highway, Louisville, Kentucky 40213. A service to honor the life of Junior will be at 1 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home. Junior will be laid to rest at Evergreen Cemetery.
