Kenneth Albert Stieneker

Kenneth Albert Stieneker, 94, of Louisville, KY passed away the evening of June 11th after a valiant battle with dementia. He is survived by a daughter, Sandra Currens; his son-in-law, Ken Currens; 3 grandchildren, Erin Doyle, Brooke Behnfeldt (Dan), Ryan Currens (Teri); and 7 great-grandchildren, Finn, Maddox, Rowan, Theo, Molli, Lilly and Mason.

The family offers special thanks for the loving care provided to Ken by the Barton House staff. Rather than saying goodbye, Ken usually waved and cheerily called out “See You On The Boat”.

Visitation will be 10 AM to 12 PM on Saturday, June 16th, with funeral services immediately following at Arch L. Heady Funeral Home on Westport Road at Herr Lane. Burial will be in Cave Hill Cemetery following the service.
