She was a long time employee of Norton Healthcare, where she touched the lives of everyone she met. She graduated from Bellarmine University with a Masters Degree of Science in Nursing.
She was preceded in death by her parents Jean and Dorothy Alt. Laura was a devoted mother and loving wife.
She is survived by her husband of 24 years, Murray and her 3 children Kristin Sullivan (Rodrick Barge), Cara Sullivan, and Jessica Spalding (Michael) as well as her 7 grandchildren Jacob, Trent, David, Kyleigh, Kiersten, Aliya, and Elijah; two brothers, Ronald Lee Alt (Donna) and Larry Jean Alt (Carolyn Sue).
Laura’s Funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, November 1, 2015 at Arch L Heady and Son at Westport Village,7410 Westport Road. Visitation is Saturday, October 31 from 1-8 pm and Sunday, November 1 from 9-1 pm with the funeral service to follow. Burial will be at Utica Community Cemetery in Utica, Indiana.
