She was preceded in passing by her husband of 43 years: Harold Head; and her granddaughter: Marissa.
LaVerne was retired from Jefferson County Public Schools and was the owner of the family business, Okolona Window Cleaning.
Left to cherish her memory, her children: Cathy Bogard (Steve), David Head (Dawn), Paul Head, Mark Head, and George Head; grandchildren: Mike, Alicia, Angela, David, Steven, Sarah, Chris, Bryce, Spencer, Trent, and Trevor; 7 great-grandchildren; and her furry companion: Holly.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 14th at 11am in the chapel of Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home, 8519 Preston Hwy. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday from 2-8pm at the funeral home.
