My grandpa and I weren’t so close as I had wanted to be. When I did see him and grandma they always had cookies in the cookie jars! My favorite thing about going to their house. Also the birds but I’d never touch those things. When I got the text grandpa had passed I was eating those same oatmeal cookies they always had in those cookie jars. Am i the only one who remembers the red chair? It didn’t fit up the the table but I always liked to sit on it because it had two steps to get up on the chair and was metal. All the times we have spent together we’re all good. I wish you and grandma could come watch me play in a big time championship and not a high school one. I do know you and grandma are looking down on us keeping us safe. I love you grandpa. 

When I was a little girl my Daddy was my hero he was my everything. As I got older we bumped heads like crazy and that's only because we were just alike in our stubbornness but no matter what we made up and he was always there for me when I needed him most. These past few months I spent time with Dad every single day and I am truly thankful that I did. We had some great talks and some good cries. He kept me busy and on my toes, I'm going to miss it I know because right now I feel so lost without him. I LOVE you Dad, big hugs and kisses. 

My pepaw was such an amazing man!
Since the day I was born he has been my bestfriend and the man I always looked up to when I was younger. We had our disagreements but we was always two pees in a pod.

He was always there for me no matter what the situation was...
He would sing to me on our way to school, he taught me how to build with my own two hands, I would go with him to his pigeon races and help him care for his. He would always joke and know exactly what to do to make me smile.

I'm going to miss him more than anyone knows, but atleast he's together again with my grandma, the love of his life.
When I see him again one day the first thing I'm going to do is get one of his amazing hugs and never let go!

You and grandma save me a set right between yall so when I get there I can tell you about everything. 
I love you so much pepaw but I'm going to miss you so much more!

Lawrence was preceded in death by his loving wife of 54 years, Bonnie Werner; son, Bobby Werner; daughter, Sandra Miller.


Left to cherish his memory are his children, Lawrence Werner Jr (Candy), Tina Gardner (David), Terry Werner (Carol), Anthony Werner (Allyson), Darin Werner (Stacy), Kevin Werner (Kim), Tammy Sweatt, Lora Werner (Corey); 27 grandchildren; 53 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; and many friends.
