I am so saddened to hear of Leo's passing. My memories of Leo, and the Foys and the Links, go back to New Goshen Presbyterian Church to when our kids actually WERE kids.
Leo being from South Dakota and me being from Iowa we shared a connection and many stories of growing up in a rural, upper mid-western state. Leo always had a story!
Leo truly cared for his fellow human. He was involved in any way he could in feeding and helping others, even in merely taking a walk with them. He had a true servant's heart.
I will carry many great memories of tail-gating for Cardinal football games, watching Cardinal basketball games and tournament games in our homes. Great times, win or lose.
It is truly sad that this past year has been without contact due to the Covid shut down. But I know the Promise that we will all see one another again one day. In fact, I suspect that Trish has sought Leo out and shown him the best places to go already. ;) And come game day, she will have someone else now to cheer the Cards on from on high with her.

Peace and blessings to all those who loved Leo,
Dennis

Barb, Eric and Leah
I just read the sad news about Leo. Please know that the Maley Family will pray for all of you and ask for Peace and comfort. I just talked to Leo a few weeks ago at Kroger. He told me he was going to see Eric but due to covid he had to wait. He was so proud of your family. If you need anything please contact me at 608-9266. Again we are so very sorry and know what a wonderful man and friend Leo was to everyone. Leo wouldn't wait for someone to ask for help he would go ahead and do it, whatever he thought would help.

Many of my memories are associated with singing tenor with Leo in our church choir (Springdale Presbyterian Church). We always had a visit before and after choir rehearsals. Leo had a good voice and it was fun singing with him. Leo always had a story to tell. Leo and I also attended many men's breakfasts at our church on the first Saturday of each month. With the pandemic and Leo's illness I missed singing with him this past year. He will be missed by all who knew him. Allan

We send our love and healing energy to Barb and all her family.

My heart is broken. At 15, I was new to the foster system and terrified to meet the people who would be caring for me. I met Leo before I met the rest of the family and he was so kind to me. He always went out of his way to do little, kind things for everyone in the family and he got so much joy from it. He’d be so excited to show you that he got your favorite salad dressing, cereal, whatever. Every 3rd Saturday we would go serve breakfast at the Mission downtown and I’m so grateful for all these memories. I’m so glad that I kept in touch with both Barb and Leo. Even as an adult no longer in their care, Leo and Barb have been there to offer love and support through some of the toughest days of my life. I can’t express enough how much my heart hurts. Sending my love and care to the entire Link family at this time. I love you guys. RIP Leo ❤️❤️❤️
