Preceding him in death was his son, Leon Farris Jr.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 48 years, Betty; daughter, Tammy (Darrell) Hanger; grandchildren, Tiffany, Lacey, Samantha, Sarah, Leon Farris III, Brandon and Jaidyn; 4 great grandchildren; and siblings, Jackie, Eugene, Francis, and Margaret.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday at 2:00pm at Evergreen Funeral Home. Visitation will be on Monday from 3:00pm-8:00pm and Tuesday from 10:00am-8:00pm at the funeral home. Interment at Evergreen Cemetery following the service.
