Leonard "Lenny" Bernard Noyes

He was born in Washington DC on November 7, 1947 and was raised in Louisville, Kentucky. Lenny graduated from DuPont Manual High School and then attended Western Kentucky University. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. Lenny retired from both L & N Railroad and Norton Healthcare. He volunteered for the BSA Troop 157 at St. Rita for over 20 years and was a member of the Order of the Arrow.

Lenny was preceded in death by his mother, Marta Noyes; brother, William “Bill” Noyes; mother and father-in-law, Lester and Anna Kunkel; sisters-in-law, Rachel Gerle, Barbara Rostad and Kathleen Kunkel; brothers-in-law, Joseph Gerle and Duane Holverson.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 55 years, Donna; children, Melissa Borsotti (Anthony), James Noyes (Rachel); grandchildren, A.J.(Camille), Jacob, Dominick, Nathan, and Xavier Borsotti, Caleb (Jadyn Browning) and Skylar Noyes; great-grandchildren, Cameron, Holden, Rapunzel, Anastasia, and Joseph; in-laws, Betty Noyes, Judy Holen (Dwight), Debra Kunkel, Dan Rostad, Dennis Kunkel (Nancy); nieces and nephews, Vanessa Noyes, JoDee Toler, Amanda Friend, Marissa Scheurer, Dani Rostad, Brianna Kunkel, Bill Noyes, Dave Noyes, Michael Gerle, Chad Gerle, and Jordan Kunkel.

A private service was held Saturday May 10, 2025 at Arch L Heady & Son Funeral Home – Okolona Chapel. Private inurnment will be at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central.
