She graduated from Lee college earning two master’s degrees, was a librarian for the University of Louisville, She loved genealogy, was an avid reader and enjoyed singing with her church, the New Covenant Church of God. She enjoyed travelling and was able to participate in mission trips in Columbia and Haiti. Linda was also the primary caregiver for her twin sister for 30 years until her sister’s death.
Linda is preceded in death by her parents and her siblings.
She is survived by her nieces, Rebecca Huffman (Robert), Paula Brown (Joey) and Ronald Clark. She is also survived by her devoted companion, Cookie the tuxedo cat. Linda is also survived by her great nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family and friends.
Visitation will take place from 12-2 PM on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Rd. Louisville, KY 40218. A funeral service will follow the visitation at 2PM in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be at Resthaven Memorial Park Cemetery.
