Linda Sue Newton

Linda was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Francis and Gladys, as well as many of her brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her loving children: Robert Newton (Dara), Angela Thacker (Michael), Thomas Newton (Angela), and Donna Baker (Kevin). She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren: Bryan, Amanda (Tyler), Sarah, Taylor, Michael (Mariah), Holly, Joshua, Miranda (Jordan), Mandy, Zachary, and Morgan; and her adored great-grandchildren: Juliana, Maxine, Jordan Jr., and Braxton.

Linda was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her family was her greatest joy, and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren held a very special place in her heart. She treasured time spent with them and created many loving memories that will be forever cherished.

Linda enjoyed bowling, playing cards, and coloring, finding happiness in life’s simple pleasures. She was a hard worker who dedicated her life to providing for and caring for her family. Her strength, love, and dedication will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Linda’s legacy of love lives on in the many lives she touched.

Services will be held at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven 4400 Bardstown Rd Louisville KY 40218. Visitation for Linda will be held Wednesday, December 17, 2025, 3-8pm. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Thursday, December 18, 2025, at 12pm.
