Linda Ann Stobaugh, 80, residing in Louisville, Kentucky passed away peacefully at home on the morning of September 3, 2022. She was surrounded by family uplifting her in song and in scripture. Linda, born on November 17, 1941, grew up in Louisville and graduated from Durrett High School in 1960.
She was preceded in death by her parents Ben Luther Brummett and Jennie Margaret Brummett, brothers Robert Brummett and Samuel Brummett, daughter Dana Peterman (Steve), granddaughter Dana Kramer, and great granddaughter Mary McQueary. She is survived by her sister Judith Vest (Rick), children Michelle Mahbubani (Raju), Robyn Gay (Joe), Jay Stobaugh, and Jennie Coleman, 13 beloved grandchildren, and 14 darling great grandchildren.
Linda’s talents were many. She was an extremely accomplished seamstress, drag racer, won 2nd place in archery in the state of Kentucky, her faith in Christ was unwavering, and she loved others unconditionally.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 7, 2022, from 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road. A funeral service in Linda's honor will begin at 2:00 PM, with burial to follow in Resthaven Memorial Park.
