She worked at the Louisville Public Warehouse during the late 1950's. The remainder of her, life she was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker. She also was a bowling enthusiast for many decades.
She, like her husband, were strong christians and dedicated to their church and family. She loved kids and would do anything for her grandchildren.
Lois is preceded in death by her husband, "the love of her life" William Robert Ballinger, their son, William Rodney Ballinger and granddaughter, Brittany Annette Ballinger, sister, Sue Dishman and brothers Paul Adkins and H.D Adkins.
She is survived by her daughter Pam Johantgen and spouse Kathy, grandchildren, Charles "Bud" Ballinger and spouse Shannon, Josh Johantgen and spouse Alexis and Eden Lanham and spouse Darren and a sister, Anna Marie Miller. She's also survived by ten great grandchildren and many other family and friends.
Guests are invited to attend a visitation on Tuesday June 24, 2025 from 3-7 pm at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Rd. Louisville KY 40218 with a funeral in The funeral home chapel starting at 7 pm the evening of visitation. Interment will be at Resthaven Memorial Park.
