Lois A. Harrington, 77, of Louisville, passed away on the afternoon of July 1, 2016 at Baptist Health Louisville, surrounded by her family. She was the former Lois Lingham and a native of Cincinnati, Ohio. Lois was a graduate of Evanston Illinois High School and a voice major at the University of Louisville. She retired from KFC Corporate Headquarters and was a member of the Joyful Servers Sunday School Class at Parkland Baptist Church. Lois was a proud, devoted mother to the singing Harrington Brothers.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lewis and Lee Lingham.
Left cherishing her memory are her children; Jeff, Mike, David (Holly) and Doug Harrington; grandchildren, Steven, Jonathon, Jack, Sylvia, Lena, and Tom Harrington; and her sister, Libby Lingham.
A Life Celebration will be held on Friday, July 8, 2016, at 2 pm, at the Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Chapel, 4400 Bardstown Road, with interment in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be on Thursday from 3-8 p.m. and Friday from 11 a.m. - until service time at the funeral home.
