She was the youngest child of William and Bertha Higdon. She is survived by the spouse of 73 years, Charles Almon. Also survived by a son, Dennis Almon (Silvia), daughter, Karen Ench (James), and daughter-in-law, Marie Almon. Survivors include 6 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren. She will also be missed by her friends at Twinbrook Assisted Living.
A memorial visitation will be held on Monday, May 1, 2023 from 10 AM until 2 PM at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home (4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville, Kentucky 40218).
Following the memorial visitation, will be a graveside service in Resthaven Memorial Park.
