Mabel C. Zaino

She was born November 17, 1923 in Lexington, KY, the daughter of Homer B. Hickey and Betty Pearlee Hickey Whitaker. She was a member of First Church of the Nazarene, Louisville, KY. After marriage she was a homemaker.

She is survived by a son, Russell B. Zaino (Sherrie) of Louisville and a daughter, Linda D. Healy (Richard) of Lebanon Junction, KY; four grandchildren, David Healy of Springfield, MO, Christine Zaino of Washington, DC, Amanda Healy, Jennifer Zaino; and one sister, Alma Davis all of Louisville.

Mabel was preceded in death by her husband, Louis F. Zaino; a son, Jeffrey B. Zaino; a sister, Mildred Berry and a brother, Homer “Mac” Hickey.

A Service to Celebrate Mabel’s Life will be conducted at 10:00 AM Monday, January 7, 2013 in the Chapel of Arch L. Heady Russman & Sons, 1201 E. Oak St. Interment will follow at Cave Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1-6 PM on Sunday at the funeral home.
