Madeline was born on September 6, 1942 and is preceded in death by her husband William Steinlander (1998) and her two children Dale Kirk Keith (1962) and Ethel Sherry Armstrong-Thompson (2016). She is survived by her children Connie Renea Hawkins, Alvin Armstrong, and Jeff Keith; thirteen grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Madeline was a retired TARC bus driver and member of Kenwood Methodist Church. She loved her family, friends, and animals and didn’t turn anyone away who came to her for help. Contributions may be made to any local animal shelter in her remembrance.
A private burial will be held at Resthaven in Louisville where she will reside next to her husband, William Steinlander. Madeline (Nanny) will be missed, cherished, and remembered by her loved ones.
