Margaret was retired from General Electric and a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Mary Margaret Gunderson.
She is survived by her loving husband of 66 years of marriage, William Bishop; four children, William P. Bishop (Claudia), Robert D. Bishop, Daryl Beckmann (Gene) and Joseph E Bishop; one brother, Frank Blandford; two sisters, Victoria Kelty and Catherine Blandford; 11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Celebration of Margaret's life will take place noon Wednesday September 28, 2011 at the Arch L Heady at Resthaven Chapel, 4400 Bardstown Road, with a private burial to take place following the service.
