She is preceded in death by her parents; and sisters, Martha Ann Niemann and Mary Ann Bolton.
Marge embraced life with a smile and laugh. She was everyone’s staunchest supporter in any endeavors. She was always interested in a phone call or chat, you just had to plan on at least an hour for conversation or gossip.
She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church and retired from BellSouth after 25 years of service. She loved crocheting beautiful keepsakes and rosaries for anyone who requested.
She is survived by her husband of over 40 years, David R. Dues; son and daughter in law, Scott A. Sr. and Melinda Dues; granddaughter, Katherine M. Dues; grandson, Scott A. Dues, Jr.; and several beloved nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews; and great-great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at Evergreen Funeral Home on Monday, May 20, 2024 from 2 pm until 8 pm, with a prayer service at 7:30pm.
Mass of Christian Burial will be on Tuesday, May 21, 2024 at 12 pm at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church (1960 Bardstown Road), with entombment to follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in Marge’s honor to the American Cancer Society or Ursuline Sisters of Louisville.
