Mrs. Mattingly retired from Rental Uniform after 20 years and was a member of the old Minors Lane Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her loving parents, Harold and Effie Thomas; her beloved husband, Ben A. Mattingly; granddaughter, Mary Fable; and great-grandson, Brandon Smith.
Mrs. Mattingly is survived by a son, Arthur Klein (Vicky); six daughters, Mary Simcoe (Bill), Linda Klein, Ada Taylor (Bill), Peggy Baxter (Dan), Wendy Hicks, and Sharon Mattingly (Charlie); 31 grandchildren including her namesake, Margaret Ann ; many great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Her funeral service will be on Thursday at 10am at the Arch L. Heady Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 8519 Preston Highway, with interment following in Pennsylvania Run Cemetery. Visiting will be on Tuesday from 4pm-8pm and on Wednesday from 11am-8pm.
The family asks that expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to St. Jude or the American Cancer Society.
