She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Callie Land; sister, Geraldine B. Spicer; and brothers, Leo V. Land and William B. Land.
Marie is survived by beloved Joshua T. Payne; sisters, Juanita J. McMillin (Don) and Doris J. Purvis; cousin, Virginia Land and many nieces and nephews.
A service honoring the life of Maria will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday at Evergreen Funeral Home. Visitation will be Monday from 2-8 p.m. and Tuesday from 10 a.m.-8 p.m. at Evergreen Funeral Home.
