

Marion “Scott” Fawbush returned to his Heavenly Father on Wednesday, January 31, 2024. Scott was born in Louisville on March 13, 1963 to George Fawbush and the late JoAnn Fawbush. He is preceded in death by his mother, brother, Gregg O’Bryan and his late wife, Michelle Fawbush.
Scott was an amazing husband, father and grandfather. He was retired as a Sgt. Major and Ranger from United States Army after 31 years of service. His career took him all over the world to many places, to honor our country. Scott was a Deputy Sheriff for the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office and a member of the Fraternal Member of Police.
His survivors include his wife, Missy Fawbush; his son, Michael Fawbush, daughters, Krystal “Boogers” and Kaitlyn “Fusser” Fawbush and their mother, Kandy Burns, and stepchildren, Gary (Felicia) Wise and Bryanna “B-Lee Sr.” (Benji) Wise; father, George (Rita) Fawbush; siblings, Martin (Aprill) Fawbush, Dana (Edward) Young and Tara (Glenn) Fawbush; grandchildren, Xavier “Toolbox” Gipson, Serenity Norris, Ruby Fawbush and Brayleeonna “B-Lee” Norris; nieces and nephews, Wendy Hickman, Martin Fawbush, Jr., Jessica Edwards, Jennifer Vincent, Corbin O’Bryan, Shelby Davenport, Edward Young, Jr., Dylan Young and Justin Krueger; and many brothers and sisters that he has served with through his years with the military and law enforcement; and a host of extended family and friends.
Funeral Service will be held at 10 am on Saturday, February 10, 2024 at Southeast Christian Church (920 Blankenbaker Pkwy Louisville, Kentucky 40243) with interment to follow at Fairmount Cemetery (9402 Old Bardstown Rd.).
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 9, 2024 beginning at 11 am until 6 pm at Arch L Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home (4400 Bardstown Rd. Louisville, Kentucky 40218.
