Mills, Marjorie Louise (Elrod), 92, of Louisville went to heaven on Friday, October 4, 2013, from the result of an abdominal aortic aneurysm. She was a graduate of Bryant and Stratton Business College, a long-time member of Kenwood Baptist Church, an LGHS alumnae, a Kentucky Colonel, and a Beechmont Quilter. She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Maurice (Buster) H. Mills; parents, Thomas E. Elrod, Sr. and Nell Mae Stout Elrod; siblings, Roger E. Elrod, Sr., Thomas E. Elrod, Jr., Virginia M. Farmer, and Thelma K. Eberhardt. Left to treasure her memory are her three children: Peggy L. Hinson (Ronald), Christina C. Kohler (Bob, Jr.), and Nicholas W. Mills (Lisa); grandchildren: Amy L. Trolley (Andrew), Andrea R. Melvin (Shane), and Andrew S. Kohler (Rachel); great-grandchildren: Ava N. and Abigail M. Trolley; and numerous nieces and nephews. A celebration of her life will be conducted by Dr. Phil Ellis on Wednesday, at 12 noon in the Southern Chapel of Arch L. Heady & Son, 3601 Taylor Blvd. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be from noon to 7 pm on Tuesday and after 10 am Wednesday.
