Martha Lee Barnes, 87, of Louisville was born on November 5, 1929 to the late Cliffton and Ruth Trunick Barnes, and passed from this life on Thursday November 10, 2016. Martha was retired from Brown Foreman where she worked for 41 years, a member of Carlisle Avenue Baptist Church, and an Marine veteran. Left to cherish her memory is her sisters, Charlene Ferguson and Carolyn Miller; a brother Cliffton Barnes; and a number of nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. A service to celebrate Martha’s life will be held at 10 am Tuesday in the Southern Chapel of Arch L. Heady & Son, 3601 Taylor Blvd. Interment with military honors will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
