Mary Frances Alberhasky

Mary Frances Alberhasky, 85, of Louisville, KY passed away on March 23, 2024. She was born on June 13, 1938 to the late Frederick and Stella Prechtel. She is preceded in death by her husband of 60 years Robert L. Alberhasky, children; Timothy Alberhasky, Perry Alberhasky, Mark Alberhasky, Melanie Heissenbuttle, and John Alberhasky, siblings; Fred Prechtel, Raymond Prechtel, and Phyllis Mathies. Left to cherish her memory are her children; David Alberhasky (Leticia), Lisa Rayburn (Teddie), Robert Alberhasky (Debra), Melinda Alberhasky, and Amy Campbell. An abundance of grandchildren and great-grandchildren, siblings; Gene Prechtel (Linda), William Prechtel (Pat), and Robert Prechtel (Kathy).

Mary was a woman with a pure heart and soul. Her kindness was a shining light in her everyday life and people who were fortunate to be around it will miss it deeply. Mary was a talented seamstress who would make clothes for her 10 children and even Barbie clothes for the girl’s toys. She loved working in the yard and getting her hands dirty for a bit. She lived a faith inspired life and could even quote certain scriptures to teach the children a lesson. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister who’s patience and kindness will live on forever.

A funeral service for Mary will be held on Friday March 29, 2024 at 10am in the chapel of Arch L. Heady-Cralle Funeral Home 2428 Frankfort Ave. Louisville, KY 40206. Visitation will be Thursday March 28, 2024 from 2pm-7pm. Burial will take place at Cave Hill Cemetery.
