Mary Ann Bishop, born in London, England, on December 10, 1926, and passed into the arms of her Lord Jesus October 12, 2025. She was preceded in death by her husband of forty-four years, Roy Lee Bishop, her parents David and Mary Ann Sullivan, and her brother Partick. Remaining to cherish her memory are her daughters Julie Ann Dalton (Charlie), and Valorie Lee Bishop; one granddaughter, Brittany; one great granddaughter, Lillian. Keeping her memory alive are many extended family members and friends.
Mary Ann was a homemaker who always out her family first, often sacrificing to make sure that their needs were met. She had a wonderful sense of humor and loved to laugh. Dancing and shopping topped the list of most fun things to do. Above all, everyone will always remember her as a real “Lady”.
Services for Mary Ann Bishop will be held at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville, KY 40218. Visitation Friday, October 17, from 11am-2pm, with a service at 2pm. A burial will follow at 3 pm at Evergreen Cemetery, 4623 Preston Hwy, Louisville, KY 40213.
