Born in Louisville, Kentucky on July 11, 1954, Mary was the daughter of the lates’ Lawrence Clark & Helen Goodin. Mary was a Collector with Citi Financial Group. She was a member of the St. Benedict’s Roman Catholic Church and grew up attending Guardian Angel. Mary loved to knit, go out to eat and take drives. She was very witty, a jokester at heart. Mary served her nation with pride and honor in the United States Navy. Although private about her military service, Mary served for over 12 years. She was a Petty Officer First Class and was the recipient of the National Defense Service Medal, Navy Good Conduct Medal (twice), The Armed Forces Reserve Medal and the Navy Achievement Medal.

Left to cherish her memory are her son, Crispin (Emori Collins) Coleman; siblings, Larry (Linda) Clark, Robert Clark & Joe (Diane) Clark; nieces & nephews, Jeremy, Theresa, Cecelia, James, Luke, Kyle & Matthew; great – nieces, Timara & Elisa Rose; great – great – niece, Kylie; plus, a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 15, 2022 at the St. Benedict’s Roman Catholic Church; 1240 Matha Ave.; Louisville, Kentucky 40215. Burial will follow in the Garden of Angels fo the Evergreen Cemetery & Garden Mausoleums. Visitation will be held on Monday, February 14, 2022 from 3:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Evergreen Funeral Home.
