Mary Ann Geraghty

Mary Ann Geraghty, 83, died peacefully at home on December 10, 2012. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, George Anthony Geraghty, Sr., and caring son, Thomas Geraghty. She was a devout Catholic and shining example of love, sacrifice, and perseverance. She lived a life in service through her volunteer work with St. Anthony's Auxiliary and in her chosen career as a home health care worker for Elder Care Solutions. She had 19 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren who always brought a smile to her face. She will always be remembered as the cherished mother of ten: Donna Armstrong, George Geraghty, Jr.(Carmel), Kathleen Geraghty, Karen Matta(Robert), Patti Geraghty, John Geraghty, Melissa Renfrow, Brian Geraghty(Victoria), and Dawn Hershberger(Dennis). She is also survived by her brother, Frank Meiners(Pat) and sister, Imelda Shadowen. Funeral Mass will be 10am Saturday, December 15, 2012 at St. Brigid Catholic Church, 1520 Hepburn Avenue, with interment in St. Michael's Cemetery.
