She was born in Breckinridge County, Kentucky on June 20, 1917 to the late Charles and Louvena Curry Noble. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Carol "Missy" Lee, brother J.C. Noble, and sister Nina Martin. Mary was a longtime food service and event planner for many local hotels including the Days Inn, Roadway Inn, and the Brown Hotel. She was the recipient of many awards for her dedicated work. She was also an avid gardener, always tending to her garden in her spare time.
Mrs. Lee is survived by her sons; Charles Gary Lee, Michael Frank Lee (Mary Elizabeth), and Lynn Howard Lee (Janice); one sister, Sina Bryant; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Her celebration of life service will be held Friday at 12:30 PM at Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church located at 3509 Taylor Blvd. Visitation will be held from 1:00 to 8:00 PM on Thursday at the funeral home. Interment will be at Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
